Announcement

While John's parents were in town, John and I were having the when-are-we-having-number-two talk. We decided to stop protection and see. In about two months I was sick and had my doctor check my blood and get a prego test. I had strep and was pregnant.

I made an appointment with the closest OB office in Petoskey and found out I was due March 12, 2014. 2 months later I told work which was hard as I just started there. They were understanding and happy for our family. We also told our parents and the FB world with empty shoes for John, me, and Mathew with booties on our welcome mat. People loved the announcement. 

I felt like I got huge right away. I started wearing my maternity clothes sooner and also felt more awful than before. I got medication earlier than Mathew. I guess I should have known at that point that this pregnancy was going to be way different.
