Graduation

it was a fun weekend. i flew down and spent the first night at my friends Erin's house, then the second night at Suzanne's (with all her dogs). that friday was paperwork at the school, professional pictures, and graduation rehearsal. i found out that day i was graduating with honors and third/fourth in my class. my parents flew in while i was at the school and picked me up in their rental car later. we drove around the school and i showed them my old 'stomping' grounds; the school, where i lived, where i worked, and where my favorite beach was. they got a fancy hotel across from the beach and the next day john flew in. he met my mom and we all stayed in the same hotel. john woke me early to go running at the beach and my mom was hesitant to let us go off on our own. we spent the rest of that day in the hotub and sunning around the pool. there was an awards banquet that night.john kept saying it was too fancy, but my program was fancy. Nova can be fancy. it was a fun night and i got my cords.after mom and dad drove back as john and i walked the boulevard. he seemed proud and kept saying 'thanks for letting me enjoy the good part'. graduation was the good part....

i will miss not seeing the girls in my program. steph was a great friend and we did alot together. she helped keep me sane and our study nights were priceless. my parents both were proud, in their silent way. i enjoyed my program and i would promote Nova. i was there at a great time and learned alot. it also brought me to Boston and MEEI and John and a good job and all else. it was a goal reached...yes, i am a Doctor now. AuD officially and i know things! lol...
