temple fun

saturday i went to the temple. we got off to a late start on the bus but it ended up being a really nice day. i was really planning on a session and even had names from my branch pres., but i got snagged into being the 'towel lady' for the baptism session. it's amazing how much work goes into it...but afterward you really feel like you accomplished something if everything runs smoothly.

the day was even better because wes ended up coming. we had a nice long time on the bus to chatt and just be. people on the bus (members of our branch) were just learning about our whole relationship and all we got was smiles and little winks. it's nice that people agree to certain things and approve of us, not that i am seeking approval. he's a great guy and suzanne even called him a hero when i told her that he performed all the baptisms. it was fun to see him in the font helping and working just as hard as i was. there was this one girl who totally frieked out cause it was her first time. he spoke to her very calmly, and just said 'let me do all the work, you just relax in my arms.' that made me smile a bit... it ended up being a really good day.
