- The sitter that took Mathew came in the middle of the night and watched Mathew the entire time. It was great for him and nice for us to not have to worry about where he was. I think Mathew had fun too. I appreciated it, even though we ended up having to paying her my last paychecks worth. (Is that really help?)
- Angela, our neighbor, took Dinah as the sitter didn't stay at the house.
- Meals from Coastie wives started the first night we were home and lasted almost two weeks!
- Amber came that first night. She got Mathew up in the morning most days and gave me much needed breaks to shower and care for myself. Mathew really enjoyed the attention and it helped him transition to not being the only child around. John really liked having a nurse in the house. 
She stayed over two weeks until John's mom came.
It really was so nice!! Everyone seemed happy to help and excited for the new baby.
