we finally made it up to grafton, VT and our friend's cabin. the thompson's have a cute place out in the middle of nowhere in vermont. it was a fun drive up through the new hampshire mountains and small towns. we took dinah with us as she could stay in the cabin while we explored grafton. she was so cute in her little carrier and was so excited to go on a trip with us. i don't think she liked the drive as she was whinny toward the end to get out. the cabin was so cute and the town was very back-woods, but peaceful. john enjoyed getting out of massachusetts and into the woods - no cell service. he is really not a city guy... getting to the cabin was quite fun too. the driveway was covered with ice and once we ended up heading backward and turning around on the ice! grafton was really cute with a working Cheese company,
local maple syrup, and a sweet New England Inn with a tavern. it was very peaceful to explore and just enjoy being together and outside. john was great at setting a fire at night as we cuddled in our sleeping bags eating our goodies from the Cheese company.
we tried to take some prenatal pictures while there. check this one out! i still want some from a real photographer from a better camera. we also took the time to re-visit the walpole, NH location of burdicks and got sweet mugs!!!
