my hottie...

i know that two post on one day is unusual for me, but i just got back from watching my pistons lose to the celtics in game 5 of the eastern conference finals, and wanted to write about something worth noting. i expected earlier this morning that wes and i would watch the game together. at around 8:45pm i got a fun text from a friend of mine asking me to go hot tubbing with her with some of the single summer boys. now i thought it would be excellent for wes and i to go, so immediately i texted him about it (thinking that he was still in class). my friend begged me to go, saying she didn't want to go alone, but i told her i would have to check with wes. wes didn't reply to my text so i called him (finding out that he was at home already and watching the game without me). he was mad that i wanted to go hot tubbing with my friend and the summer boys. i specifically stated that i was only thinking about going to suport my friend, and wanted him to go... he also seemed really down... ANYWAY - to make the long story short, i ended up going to his place and smoothed things over. after the pistons lost, wes walked me to my car and brought up going with my friend again. he didn't think that it was good of me to go with all those single boys around. what i took as good fun, he took as a date-like gathering - which i didn't need to be apart of... its funny though, and the main point of this story was that he said that he has no need to go out to partys like that because he has 'already found his mate'. i told him that i wasn't looking either and of course he smiled, and i smiled.... so i found my mate... how funny it is to say that... and he found me... anyway, i thought it was cute...without the pistons losing it would have been a really good night!
